Paula Jordan — who owns Milkshake and Cookies sweet bar -- provides a place where the whole family can get something sweet that they really enjoy. Small plates of comfort food coming soon, Plant-based ice cream flavors, imported macaroons, cake slices, honey & jams, ice cream, fresh baked cookies, coffee's, smoothies & frappes and more. Jordan has had a passion for baking since she was young and was able to study the craft in Culinary school . Now that she's changed careers, she's able to spend more time sharing baked goods with love for the whole family. Jordan does most of the baking for Milkshake and Cookies. She believes in investing in the community located in Plainfield IL. Milkshake and Cookies isn't Jordan's only business, though. She also owns a jam company, Mother of Chicago Jam. The name might sound familiar as the marmalades are on the menu at Lockport Street's Wine And Cheese. The jam is produced in a culinary short kitchen in which Jordan co-owns with two business partners. The sweet bar — which Jordan describes as an "after dinner'' kind of place is where creative desserts, family and friends beautifully collage in enjoyment of new culinary experiences.
